📄 Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that sometimes travel plans change. That’s why we’ve kept our cancellation and refund policy clear and transparent. Please read the points below carefully before confirming your booking with us.
✅ Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment
Once a client finalizes a tour package after our initial call and WhatsApp discussion: We share all company documents (GST certificate, PAN, registration, etc.) Upon agreement, we share our official company current account To confirm the booking, the client must pay a token amount of ₹10,000 This amount blocks your tour dates and helps us begin arrangements A payment screenshot and email ID are to be shared by the client for confirmation and official documentation
💳 Further Payment Timeline
30% of the total package cost must be paid 1 week before the tour starts Remaining 70% is to be paid on the day of tour start or after the first night stay, as discussed during booking
❌ Cancellation by the Customer
If the client chooses to cancel the tour, the following policy applies:
🔸 If cancelled 30 days or more before the tour start date: 70% of the total amount paid (including token) will be refunded 30% is retained as processing and administrative charges (hotel bookings, vehicle blocking, staff arrangements, etc.)
🔸 If cancelled within 30 days of the tour start date: No refund will be applicable This includes the token amount and any other amount already paid All arrangements by then are already confirmed and non-refundable on our side
🛑 No Refund in These Situations
If the customer chooses to leave the tour voluntarily after it has started If the customer fails to show up at the pickup point without prior notice If the customer changes the itinerary last minute and services cannot be rescheduled Any personal issues or emergencies (though we try our best to assist)
🛡 Company Cancellation (Very Rare)
In case Maa Durga Tours and Travels needs to cancel a tour due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other serious reasons: We will inform the customer as early as possible If the tour is cancelled before 30 days, 70% of the amount will be refunded If cancelled within 30 days, no direct refund – but a transferable voucher may be issued (valid for future tours, subject to availability)
ℹ How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel your tour, please share the following over WhatsApp or email:
1. Booking details (name, destination, dates)
2. Token payment receipt.
3. Reason for cancellation.
Our team will process your request within 5–7 working days after reviewing it.
